Privacy information

Updated 2 November 2026.

This notice explains how information is handled when you use the Hydra Foundation website. For questions about your information, contact hydrasupport@10kv.com.

Contact enquiries

Our contact form asks for your name, organisation, email address, enquiry type and message. A phone number is optional. We use these details to respond to your enquiry and discuss the work or services you have asked about.

The form is processed by Formspree and delivered to the Hydra team. Your message is not published on this website. Please do not include confidential incident records, information about identifiable victims, or other sensitive case material in a website enquiry. We can discuss an appropriate way to share any necessary material separately.

Read Formspree’s privacy policy for information about its processing. You can also contact us directly by email.

Booking a call

Our booking links open Calendly, where you choose a time and provide booking details. Calendly handles that booking on its website. Read Calendly’s privacy notice before making a booking.

Cookie-free traffic measurement

We use Ahrefs Web Analytics on page load to measure website traffic separately from the optional analytics below. It uses no cookies and does not store raw IP addresses. It processes page addresses (including URL parameters), referrers, browser and device information, approximate location and interactions to produce traffic statistics. A daily identifier is used to count visitors without tracking them across days. Read how Ahrefs Web Analytics handles this information.

Optional website analytics

We use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity only if you choose “Analytics only” or “Analytics + ad measurement”. Google Analytics helps us understand which pages people use, how visitors find us and whether the website leads to enquiries. Google receives technical and usage information, such as pages viewed, browser and device information, and interactions with the site. Our Analytics property is linked to our Google Ads account for conversion reporting. Advertising consent controls how Google can use that data to attribute enquiries to ads.

We record a successful contact-form submission as an enquiry event and a click on the Calendly link as a booking-link event. We do not send the contents of your contact form to Google Analytics. A booking-link click does not tell us whether you completed a booking.

Google Analytics cookies named _ga and _ga_… distinguish visits. We configure these cookies for up to 180 days. With “Analytics only”, advertising storage and advertising user-data consent remain off, and our tracking code removes query strings and fragments from the page address and referrer supplied to Google Analytics.

Optional ad measurement

If you choose “Analytics + ad measurement”, we also allow Google to use advertising cookies and click identifiers to connect an advertising visit with a successful enquiry. This can include cookies whose names begin _gcl_, Google click IDs and campaign parameters in the page address. Our tracking code keeps only recognised attribution parameters and removes other query parameters and fragments. Referrer query parameters are removed in all cases.

We use this measurement to understand which ads lead to enquiries. Personalised advertising remains off. We do not send names, email addresses, phone numbers, organisations or messages from the contact form to Google Analytics or Google Ads, and we do not enable enhanced conversions using those details. A recorded enquiry is not a sale.

Microsoft Clarity and your choices

Microsoft Clarity provides heatmaps and session recordings showing how visitors interact with pages, including clicks and scrolling. It receives page, browser, device and interaction information. We mask the contact form and its contents in Clarity recordings. Clarity uses cookies including _clck and _clsk to recognise visits and connect activity within a session. We grant analytics consent only; advertising consent remains off.

You can decline optional tracking and still use all website services. Use “Cookie settings” in the footer to change your choice. Switching to “Analytics only” withdraws Google ad-measurement consent and removes this site’s Google advertising cookies. Choosing “Decline optional” also stops further Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity recording and removes this site’s Google Analytics and Clarity cookies. Changing your choice does not erase information already collected by Google or Microsoft.

We remember your choice in your browser’s local storage for 180 days. If you clear that storage, use another browser or we change the analytics covered by this choice, we will ask again. Read Google’s privacy policy and the Microsoft Privacy Statement for information about their processing.
